Co-Founder and Co-President Shreyan Daulat noticed that many students in South Dallas were in need of a life-skill oriented education that would serve them in future years. He approached Keshav Krishna with the idea to find a non-profit organization that makes interactive educational videos for elementary students. Co-Founder and Co-President Krishna came up with the name Buckner Project, after Buckner Boulevard, where several of the organization's beneficiary schools and students are located.
Technology has a growing impact on students around the world, and there’s a clear and present necessity for quality virtual education. Our volunteer staff comprises solely of high school students, because we firmly believe that our volunteers may serve as mentors and role-models for younger students. By teaching students about financial literacy, civics, and health/wellness, we aim to positively impact their futures and alleviate poverty and the socioeconomic achievement gap through the gift of education.
